The Color of a Moment
2026
This sculptural series examines seasonal transformation through color and spatial structure. Each piece follows the same compositional scheme: a solid base, a group of vertical trunks, and a light porcelain canopy. While the form remains constant, color varies, producing different atmospheric conditions.
The four sculptures correspond to the seasons, though they do not represent natural motifs directly. Instead, the series approaches seasonality as a shift in environmental qualities—light, density of air, and the overall tonal character of space.
Color therefore functions as the primary conceptual element. It registers a temporary state of the environment: a moment of transition in which traces of the previous season persist while the next one begins to emerge.
